Conde Nast provides in-kind storage and fulfillment for The X-Men® in "Life Lessons" comic book for young burn survivors.
Roughly 30,000 children and teens sustain severe burn injuries each year, leaving them with visible scars and disfigurements that can lead to staring, teasing and insensitive comments from others. "Life Lessons" helps children and teens recover emotionally from their injuries, and develop skills and strategies that will help them re-enter society and interact more comfortably with peers, friends, classmates and others.
Conde Nast has helped Starlight Starbright reduce program costs and deliver more than 100,000 copies of "Life Lessons" to young burn survivors nationwide.
